Runescape is a massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) that can be played by anyone who is 13 years of age or more. Runescape opens up a huge fantasy world for the avid gamers which are full of monsters and quests or challenges to be won. You can play the game of Runescape by first choosing a character. The game of Runescape has a number of skills which you can choose from and train your character in the skill that you like. A character gets better with experience at the skill and can then move on to higher levels. There are in all 23 skills at Runescape, of these 15 are accessible to players for free.

The Runescape Cooking Skill
The cooking skill would be best combined with the fishing skill. It would be a good combination as you can catch your own fish and then cook it thus, gaining on both fishing and cooking experience and going on to higher levels of both skills.

Starting with the Runescape Cooking Skill
You can start your cooking skill in combination with other skills if you wish to be totally self-sufficient meaning for starting cooking buy a fishing net and tinder box and start fishing. Get a few (atleast 25) shrimps for beginners and then cut a tree and make fire with your firemaking skill and cook the fish. This would result in you gaining experience in a number of skills and also training in your cooking skill. Alternately you could buy fish and then cook it and gain cooking experience. Along with fishing and cooking you need to be forever cautious and alert as there are fierce monsters near the fishing areas that need to be tackled.

When you buy fish, buy as many as you can and cook as many as possible to get more cooking experience. At higher levels better fish that would get you more cooking experience would be accessible to you. At level 15-20 you could try “Trout”. You can look for places to buy fish on forums. At level 20-25 you could buy “Pike” this would provide you more cooking experience.
